The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team will face the N.C. State Wolfpack Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET. The Orange have lost three straight games, and won’t have an easy time picking up a win against the 14-6 Wolfpack.

The Orange (12-8, 3-4 ACC) have lost three straight games to Boston College, Georgia Tech and Miami. Syracuse started conference play strong, winning three of its first four games.
The recent losing skid and overall lack of success under coach Adrian Autry has raised questions surrounding his job security. During many of Jim Boeheim’s years with the Orange, making the NCAA Tournament was the expectation. With Autry over the last three seasons, Syracuse hasn’t made it to the NCAA or NIT Tournament.
Fans are so upset with Autry and the program that they were booing during the Orange’s 85-76 loss in the JMA Wireless Dome Saturday.
Quadir Copeland spent his freshman year (Autry’s first season) with the Orange. He left after feeling like Autry and his staff wouldn’t use him as a point guard. Now Copeland is leading the Wolfpack in points (14.1), assists (6.2) and steals (1.6).
The 6-foot-6, 220-pound guard recently said a matchup with his former team is “personal”. The Orange’s fourth straight loss may come against the player who Autry and his staff didn’t think was good enough to play point guard two years ago.
