NBA Rising Stars 2026 Draft Results, Rosters for Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter, Tracy McGrady
The Rising Stars Tournament, comprised of the top rookie and sophomore plaeyrs in the NBA, now has its four teams.
NBA legends Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady each drafted a team. Here are the results:
The G League roster, meanwhile, will be as follows:
All eyes, of course, will be on Cooper Flagg, who was Anthony’s top overall pick.
The Dallas Mavericks rookie is the current frontrunner for the Rookie of the Year award, averaging 18.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.3 steals per game. While the 2025-26 season has been a rough one for the injury-ravaged Mavs (18-27), Flagg has lived up to the hype.
Charlotte Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel is making a strong push, however, averaging 18.7 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting 42.2 percent from three. The Hornets (19-28) are a good watch, and Knueppel is a big reason why.
And then there’s V.J. Edgecombe, the Philadelphia 76ers’ high-flying guard who is already a starter on a potential playoff contender. The former Baylor man is putting up 15.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game while shooting 36.4 percent from beyond the arc, allaying some of the concerns about his jumper from the pre-draft process.
He hasn’t looked like a rookie, hitting a number of clutch-time shots for a Sixers team (24-21) that has been inconsistent and injury-prone but appears to have a pretty high ceiling.
