The Bills Have Reportedly Made Decision On Bill Belichick

The Buffalo Bills have reportedly made a decision on Bill Belichick.
Belichick, 73, is entering his second season at North Carolina. However, many have speculated that he would jump at an NFL job if given the opportunity. Belichick, who led the New England Patriots to six Super Bowls, was ousted by the AFC East franchise following the 2023 season.

Several NFL jobs remain open, including the highly-coveted Buffalo Bills job. The Bills fired head coach Sean McDermott after losing to the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Round of the AFC Playoffs.
“Sean has done an admirable job of leading our football team for the past 9 seasons,” owner Terry Pegula said in a statement. “But I feel we are in need of a new structure within our leadership to give this organization the best opportunity to take our team to the next level. We owe that to our players and to Bills Mafia.”

Belichick, given his history in the AFC East, could be a natural fit.

However, the Bills have reportedly reached a conclusion on Belichick: it’s not happening right now – or ever.
Bills reach decision on Bill Belichick
ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio shared the news.
“Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the Bills are not interested in Bill Belichick,” he reported.
“At one level, it’s surprising. If the Bills are going to interview someone like Philip Rivers for the job, why not kick the tires on the Tar Heels head coach? At a not-much-deeper level, Belichick has morphed from GOAT in a good way to goat in the usual sense.”
