Browns head coach search: Team eliminates candidate, continues process

With just three teams left in the NFL head coach search carousel, the Cleveland Browns seem to be in no hurry to wrap things up on their end. The team no longer has competition for the candidates on their list, as the finalists for the Arizona Cardinals and Las Vegas Raiders are not the same as the ones for the Browns.
Tuesday night, Mary Kay Cabot reported that Cleveland had narrowed their list to three candidates, eliminating Washington Commanders run game coordinator Anthony Lynn:
As this is being published on Wednesday morning, we did not “still hear something tonight” on Tuesday.
At this point, the Browns could be working on contract details and staffing plans with their top candidates or still be discussing options among all three of the finalists. Either way, the leadership in Cleveland has not been in a hurry to complete their head coach search.
