The Love Island villa has been left reeling once more after host Maya Jama’s surprise appearance, sparking fury amongst viewers.
The villa has become filled with drama recently, with explosive arguments, emotional breakdowns and complicated love triangles developing. Within just days, hundreds of complaints have already flooded into Ofcom following the controversial scenes.
Only last night, Sean and Scott clashed yet again, leaving Sean in floods of tears whilst Scott faced accusations of being a “bully” during their heated confrontation. Meanwhile, romances are hanging by a thread as fresh bombshells continue to rock the villa.
This evening (January 28), the chaos persisted as presenter Maya Jama made her shock entrance, delivering “bad news”.

Catching the Islanders off guard, Maya entered the villa and ordered the contestants to assemble around the firepit. Jess responded: “Whenever it’s Maya, it’s bad news”, reports OK!.
Maya continued: “It’s time to find out what the public think of you. They’ve been voting for their favourite boy and favourite girl.”
Samie and Sean emerged as the public’s favourites as Maya went on: “Now, unfortunately it is time to find out which Islanders were voted least favourite. In no particular order, the three boys who received the fewest votes are..”
The bottom three lads were revealed as Konnor, Shaq and Curtis. As for the girls, Lucinda, Jess and Leanne discovered themselves amongst the least popular trio.
However, the presenter delivered devastating news to the villa as she revealed: “One boy and one girl will be dumped from the villa tonight.”

She confirmed that this choice rested with the public, leaving the islanders stunned by the announcement. In crushing scenes, Maya revealed the two departing contestants were Shaq and Jess.
Viewers expressed their outrage across social media platforms. One fan posted: “Justice for Shaq attack.”
Another commented: “And I’m sorry I would’ve preferred Shaq to stay over Curtis he gives me the ick.”
A third remarked: “How have the public kept Scott in! Absolute Joke! He should have been first out.”
A fourth wrote: “Jess over Lucinda.. Naa I’m sorry that’s ridiculous.” One viewer agreed: “Lucinda should have gone over Jess smh.”
