Nadia Sawalha shows off new ‘wolf cut’ hairstyle on Loose Women for first time

Nadia Sawalha unveiled her striking new hairstyle during Thursday’s instalment of Loose Women.
The 61-year-old star is renowned for her signature curly hair but embraced the wolf cut following encouragement from husband Mark Adderley and their daughters.
The wolf cut is a fashionable, unisex style combining elements of the 70s shag, 80s mullet, and contemporary, textured, choppy layers, characteristically showcasing shorter, dramatic volume at the crown with longer, feathered ends.
Nadia appeared alongside Charlene White, Oti Mabuse and Jane Moore on the panel on Thursday (January 29) and debuted her fresh style for the first time.
The former EastEnders star disclosed she’d asked her friend Simone to address her “old lady” hair and was thrilled with her new “ultra trendy” wolf cut.
Nadia has been candid about her hair loss journey, acknowledging her famous curls are frequently extensions or wigs owing to perimenopause and hereditary factors, a situation she emotionally addressed in 2017. Her hair altered and became thinner following childbirth.
This follows the ITV presenter’s announcement regarding the passing of her daughters’ “second mum” and family nanny.
Nadia wrote “I love how much they loved you” whilst paying a moving tribute to Pat, who cared for the Sawalha household for “over a decade”.
She described how Pat became a “second mum” to her and husband Mark Adderley’s daughters, Maddie, 23, and Kiki, 18, in the touching message.
Recent weeks have proved challenging for Nadia, who also mourned her dear friend Hannah Gardner following her battle with breast cancer in December. The TV personality struggled to hold back tears as she honoured her ‘courageous and unselfish’ friend during a Loose Women episode several weeks ago.
Hannah, who passed away at 39, some 13 years following her initial cancer diagnosis, had frequently featured on the ITV daytime programme to discuss her prolonged health struggle.
Speaking about Hannah’s death for the first time on television, Nadia reflected on her recollections of their initial encounter during a charitable expedition.
Nadia and Hannah had lobbied for life-saving medication Enhertu to become accessible through the NHS for women fighting secondary breast cancer.
