Traitors’ Rob Rausch on Reality TV Return After Love Island USA

Tara Lipinski Addresses Her ‘Traitors’ Castmates Saying Her Name Wrong All Season

This article contains spoilers for season four of The Traitors.

Rob Rausch was nearly faithful to his retirement from reality TV.

Though he’s emerged as a breakout star on The Traitors season four, the Love Island USA alum needed some convincing before agreeing to take the trip to Alan Cumming’s Scottish castle.

“I said no twice,” Rob told E! News’ Erin Lim Rhodes in an exclusive interview. “I didn’t really want to be on TV again, but I love games and I love competing.”

In fact, the 27-year-old, who starred on Love Island season six, was ultimately convinced to join because of his love for one of the longest-running reality competition shows of all time.

“I have never watched any reality [TV] other than Survivor and I thought this was kind of a similar vibe,” he continued. “I was like, ‘You know what? This could be really fun.’”

It was also the perfect chance to venture off to new places. As he put it, “I’ve never been to Scotland before, so I was like, ‘Let’s just do it. Let’s go to the castle and see what happens.’”

But for the Alabama native, “it’s possible” that The Traitors—which also stars Donna Kelce, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Colton Underwood, Ron Funches and Michael Rappaport among its season four cast—will be the last time viewers will get to see him on screen.
