Photo apparently leaked from a media event shows star-pattern DRLs and a framed grille

Mercedes debuts its brand new S-Class in a few hours time, but wouldn’t you know it, a picture of the luxury sedan appears to have already leaked online.
A single image, which looks like a smartphone photo taken at a media event, was posted to several social media accounts, including on CarsinPixels/X, showing a silver 2027 S-Class from a front-three-quarter angle.
While some users questioned its authenticity, multiple sources in Germany have confirmed the image is genuine, including Auto Motor und Sport magazine, which is no doubt attending the event as we speak.
Clearly visible are the star-design DRLs and a grille featuring a black frame, just like the one on its E-Class little brother. The aggressive gloss black air intakes, sporty wheels and visible side skirts suggests its configured with AMG Line trim.
The MY27 S-Class will reportedly get a new flat-plane crank V8 and will also feature new autonomous driving tech. Stay tuned for more.
