The fourth and final installment of the Battle of New York is upon us, and it’s the last chance for the Rangers to defeat the New York Islanders after losing to them yesterday. Including tonight’s game, the Rangers only have three more games before the Olympic break.
Earlier today, the Rangers recalled Brett Berard from the Hartford Wolf Pack. Panarin, who was held out for roster management, will once again not play tonight. Jonathan Quick and Ilya Sorokin will get the starts in net after watching from the bench last night.

Player to Watch: Matt Rempe
Since returning from injured reserve, Matt Rempe has not been the same player he was prior to the injury. The juice and physicality he once brought to the Blueshirts’ fourth line is nonexistent. With the biggest part of Rempe’s game seemingly absent, he does not have much of a positive impact.
With the call-up of Berard, Rempe may be heading back to the press box. Luckily for him, as the Rangers continue to trade away veteran players, it may present more opportunities to prove he belongs in the lineup.
Enjoy the game!
