Devin Booker’s Kendall Jenner Joke Sparks Debate

Devin Booker’s Kendall Jenner Joke Sparks Debate

Kendall famously dated the NBA star for several years, beginning in 2020. They reportedly split in 2022, with a source telling Entertainment Tonight that the pair were on “different paths” — but that was short-lived. Just days later, they sparked reconciliation rumors after stepping out together, though they reportedly split again later that year due to their “busy schedules.”

By early 2024, a source told People the two were “navigating a restart,” but nothing was ever confirmed, and by December 2025, Kendall was rumored to be dating someone else.

Because her dating history, which reportedly includes Ben Simmons, Harry Styles, and Bad Bunny, has often been the subject of mean and sexist jokes, people were surprised to see Devin publicly poking fun at her.

The remark came after the Fanatics Instagram page shared a video of Kendall on The Tonight Show, where she spoke to Jimmy Fallon about her new Super Bowl ad for the brand. In it, she made fun of the “Kardashian Kurse” — a long-held belief that anyone who dates her or a member of her family will eventually experience a career downfall.

When Jimmy asked who Kendall personally thinks will win the Super Bowl between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots, Kendall said she was picking “the underdogs, the Patriots.”

Devin commented on the post, “I bet a million the Seahawks get that ring before you do @kendalljenner 🤗,” leaving viewers absolutely stunned.

Some found it hilarious, while others thought it was plain rude. “This comment did not eat the way you wanted it to,” one person said in the replies, as another called the joke “not cool.”

The comment gained even more attention when it was shared on the Instagram page Comments by Celebs. One top comment read, “Isn’t this the boy she dated for years? His comment is pathetic.”

“They better be engaged or that was a gross comment,” another agreed.

Someone else said, “Omg that’s so embarrassing,” as one person on Reddit called Devin’s comment “rude asf.”

At the same time, some argued he might have been joking.

“Idk if its just ‘friendly teasing’ or straight up shading,” one redditor wrote, while another said it seemed “more like a friendly jab.”

Others thought it was inappropriate either way. One Instagram user said, “Even if they have ‘that kind of friendship,’ why would he say that in a public space.”

But Kendall didn’t let it slide. In response to Devin’s comment, she sent an eye-roll emoji and asked, “How’s the ankle?” seemingly in response to his recent sprain.

Devin then wrote back, “Come rub it.”

Well, then! LMK your thoughts in the comments.
