Before the game, there had been links between Raheem Sterling and Napoli, but they were put to bed in a transfer sense when the Englishman left the club yesterday.

However, Sterling isn’t the only player that Napoli want who has affiliations to Chelsea.

Could Tyrique George be another that Chelsea regret letting go?

George has actually impressed in limited minutes this season, recording three goals and one assist in just 11 appearances across all competitions. He’s averaging a goal involvement every 123 minutes.

The fear of another Mohamed Salah or Jamal Musiala situation is real, but it’s what is best at this moment in time for the future of George.

Manchester United have been linked with a surprise move for George, as well as Italian club AS Roma, so whatever next team he decided, he’ll be playing a high standard of football.

With the various options that Liam Rosenior has at his disposal out wide, it was always going to be difficult for George to get enough minutes.
