It’s a snowy Saturday for much of the Chattanooga area and parts east

Much of our viewing area are waking up to discover a blanket of snow.

We’re tracking that live on Good Morning Chattanooga-Weekend, as well as keeping track of churches, businesses and schools that are changing their schedules.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Law enforcement across our area urge drivers to stay off the roads this morning to stay safe. If you have to be out, allow yourself extra time & keep extra distance from other vehicles.

Our StormTrack 9 team says another round of Arctic air will be making an unwelcome stay for much of our viewing area, bringing us wind chill values below 0 and in the single digits all day Saturday. Read more about that and what’s in store for the beginning of the week.
