Hard body shot lands for Atang early. Back to the body he goes and another one — and DOWN GOES BOUCETTA! He doesn’t want anymore. This one is over!

Leo Atang has made it back to his corner for the end of a round for the first time in his pro career.

Slip-right hand counter from Atang to open Round 2. Atang is bullying him around the ring with his sharp jab and now putting his punches together as he starts to really work the body. The pace has noticeably increased from Atang in Round 2. Boucetta just about survives the spell of pressure. Overhand right counter landed for Boucetta in the second minute — the best punch anyone has ever landed on Atang.

Three first-round KO wins in a row for Leo Atang — Can he make it four out of four?

Leo Atang knocks the head back with a reverse one-two in the opening minute of this one. A couple of right hands are breaking the guard for Atang, as he aims downstairs with a body shot afterward. Screw shot lands for Atang, and a combination follows shortly after. Nice pair of body shots connect in the final minute. Right hand gets through to end the opener.

Robbie Colman was deducted a point in the final round for repeatedly dislodging his mouth guard, and that should seal the win for Josh Blenkiron.

Blood is pouring down Blenkiron’s face after a brilliant 10-round scrap that has the Newcastle crowd on their feet.

Blenkiron has just been the smarter of the two and had more in the gas tank in the second half of the bout. It’s been a valiant effort from Colamn, though.

The prelim headliner is not disappointing.

Neither Josh Blenkiron nor Robbie Colman has any intention of losing their unbeaten record tonight.

Colman is pressuring Blenkiron non-stop, working to the body, throwing combinations, and forcing Blenkiron around the ring. The pressure from Colman is educated, though, and his work has been consistent. Blenkiron, on the other hand, is on the backfoot, behind his jab and counter-punching. Blenkiron is perhaps the faster of the two and so is able to time Colman and walk him onto shots.

The contest is very evenly-matched, with Blenkiron potentially 3-2 ahead.
