How are you feeling about the Eagles’ new coaching hires?

Getting both Mannion and Grizzard is an interesting approach by the Eagles, but it gives Mannion some extra support as a first-time play caller, and gives Grizzard a chance to prove that the 8-9 season with the Bucs wasn’t entirely on his shoulders. With both coaches still young in their career, these choices could lend to Mannion staying in Philly for at least two seasons before being poached for a bigger role, and just one successful year with the Eagles offense could boost Grizzard’s opportunities as an offensive coordinator.

We haven’t heard from the players yet, and there’s still some work to be done to the roster on that side of the ball, but overall it seems like the Eagles made some unexpected but calculated risks in their hires, which could lead to a huge payoff in 2026.
