What time is the Pro Bowl? NFL schedule this week, Super Bowl date

NFL Overreactions: Patriots will take on Seahawks in Super Bowl LX

USAT’s Prince Grimes breaks down the NFL Championship weekend and prepares for Super Bowl LX with the Patriots and Seahawks.

Sports Seriously

Whether the NFL Pro Bowl happened before or after the Super Bowl, the game for years has been held on a Sunday.

But that no longer is the case. At least not in 2026.

The Pro Bowl, which had been the NFL version of its all-star game, is being moved to a new day and is now part of the Super Bowl festivities at the site of the Big Game.

The event, which has taken on many different formats of late to generate interest among players and fans, will be in its fourth year as a non contact flag football contest.

There are also a series of skills competitions as part of the Pro Bowl Games.

So, when is the Pro Bowl and what is the NFL schedule this week leading up to the Super Bowl in one week?

Here’s what to know about the Pro Bowl, NFL Honors and Super Bowl:

Is there a football game on today? Is the Super Bowl today?

No, there is not a football game on Sunday, Feb. 1. For the last number of years, the Pro Bowl game had been played on the week between the championship games and the Super Bowl.

But the NFL has moved the Pro Bowl as part of the Super Bowl week and not the Sunday before the Super Bowl.

As a result, this will be the first Sunday since the final weekend in August that there isn’t NFL football (yes, we know the Pro Bowl is just flag football) of some kind on TV.

When is the Pro Bowl?

  • Time: 7 p.m.
  • Date: Tuesday, Feb. 3
