Last Time in Action: Bron Breakker lost the Royal Rumble (Royal Rumble, January 31)

Two days after being attacked and eliminated in the Royal Rumble match, an irate Bron Breakker stalked the ringside area and threatened anyone in his path, leading to The Vision attempting to calm him down amid demands issued to Raw general manager Adam Pearce.

Paul Heyman blamed Pearce, too, which caused Breakker to call out the general manager again.

Pearce appeared, told Breakker he would allow him to keep his job despite a “piss poor performance” in the Royal Rumble, and LA Knight sneak attacked Logan Paul and Austin Theory with a steel chair. A dismayed Breakker asked Heyman, “what are we doing,” in disbelief as the segment closed.

  • This was a quick, painless segment that wrapped up inside of five minutes and painted the picture of an increasingly frustrated Breakker, an antagonistic Pearce, and a Knight who is far from finishing exacting revenge from The Vision.
  • This could have been better served in the middle of the show, with one of the two Royal Rumble winners kicking off the show, since those are the competitors the wrestling world is buzzing about in the wake of Saturday’s show.
