LaMelo Ball (24 pts, 8 reb, 5 ast, 2 stl) led the Hornets, who overcame a mediocre shooting night with a 70-46 advantage on the glass, in scoring.

“We built a ton of resiliency over the last months or so,” said Coach Charles Lee. “We’re going to see if we can figure it out.”

Lee praised the team’s effort to close off the paint to New Orleans, calling out Grant Williams (16 pts, 9 reb) and Ryan Kalkbrenner (10 pts, 7 reb, 3 blk) for their defensive contributions and physicality.

Trey Murphy III (27 pts, 4 ast, 3 3PM) was the top scorer for New Orleans.
