Drivers face delays on busy Queensferry Crossing following ‘multiple road traffic incidents’

Drivers are facing delays on the Queensferry Crossing following “multiple road traffic incidents” during the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Traffic Scotland has confirmed the southbound carriageway was restricted due to the collisions.
Road users face delays of around 30 minutes despite the incidents being cleared to the hard shoulder.

Traffic Scotland said: “The M90 southbound is clear with previous incidents now moved to the hard shoulder.
“Heavy delays remain and drivers should allow extra travel time.”
No injuries have been reported.
Police Scotland said: “Motorists may experience delays after a crash on the Forth Road Bridge around 6.30am on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
“Multiple vehicles are involved however there are no reports of any injuries.
“Emergency services are in attendance to assist with traffic management, however the bridge remains open.
“Motorists are thanked for their patience.”
