Holly Valance cut off in live TV interview

As if teaming up with Pauline Hanson wasn’t enough, Holly Valance has taken yet another move to tarnish her pop music legacy after making an embarrassing TV appearance.
Last week, Valance hit headlines after the One Nation leader released ‘Kiss Kiss (XX) My Arse’ on Australia Day which mocks trans people, “snowflakes” and “woke” culture.
Within hours it had been purchased enough times to soar past the two songs that topped the Triple J Hottest 100 — Olivia Dean’s Man I Need and Keli Holiday’s Dancing2 — into top spot on the iTunes Australia chart. However the iTunes chart is based on individual sales while streaming charts are more relevant.
During an appearance on Britain’s GB News channel on Monday evening, Valance used a derogatory slur, telling the host of show Free Speech Nation that the Covid pandemic was like a “r*tard metre”.
“I never really guessed it, during Covid it was the big tester. It was the ‘r*tard metre’. And Australia was quite high on that,” said the former pop star.
She was instantly called out for using the slur, but refused to apologise and while referencing the name of the show she defended herself, saying: “Hey, are we not Free Speech Nation over here?”
The host then pushed back, insisting: “We are free speech, except for that word”
The clip quickly went viral on social media, with fans rushing to share their thoughts regarding her use of language.
“Maybe not a bad word but a disgusting one slandering intellectually disabled people. Do better,” complained one.
“That comparison was rough, but using that word on TV still feels unnecessary and dated,” said another.
While a third joked: “I think the peroxide from her hair has melted her tiny brain”.
Valance’s controversial new song, a reimagining of her hit Kiss Kiss, was first pitched to her by Pauline Hanson, who claims the singer jumped at the chance to be involved.
The accompanying video to the song shows a blonde man in women’s underwear (presumably trans) dancing around to the lyrics: “MWAH You will respect my pronouns / Not all ladies have ovaries, some have a penis / They say that I’m a he but I’m a she / Coz I gotta V and not a D.
“And I don’t care what people say / I’ll never be a him, a them or they / Cause I’m real biological woman / A real biological woman.
“Fave song – from the river to the sea / No job but I bleed LGBT … Q+, ya bigot / Cause I’m a real diabolic lefty.”
The song was released to promote Ms Hanson’s self-promotional film A Super Progressive Movie.
The animated movie follows four “progressives” who are forced to travel beyond the “Naarm Bubble” and are then catapulted into the real world, which in the movie is led by a Prime Minister Pauline Hanson, to search for “their ideology’s most powerful weapon: the Victimhood”. Except, in the film, the white guy is portrayed as the true victim.
