CONCORD, N.C. – Yet again, NASCAR was forced to move back the Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium
after substantial snowfall blanketed much of North Carolina on Saturday.
Already postponed once to Monday
, road conditions in and out of Winston-Salem necessitated another move and now, the Cup Series’ preseason exhibition race will be held on Wednesday.
Practice and qualifying
will begin at 1:30 p.m. with the top 20 cars making the main event field via individual lap times. A last chance qualifier will get underway at 4:30 with the top two finishers among the remaining 18 entrants also clinching spots. Finally, the 23rd and final spot on the starting grid will be reserved for the highest finisher in the 2025 points standings who didn’t qualify otherwise.
