WTA Cluj-Napoca Day 4 Predictions Including Emma Raducanu vs Kaja Juvan

The remaining second-round matches will be played on WTA Cluj-Napoca day four with the top seeds all taking to the court. As always, we here at LWOT will be offering predictions for every match on the slate, including Sorana Cirstea vs Tamara Zidansek, but who will advance to the quarterfinals?
WTA Cluj-Napoca Day 4 Predictions
Olga Danilovic vs Maja Chwalinska
Head-to-head: Danilovic 0-1 Chwalinska
Olga Danilovic got a solid win in the first round, but will ahve to improve her level if she wants to reach the quarterfinals. Maja Chwalinska, meanwhile, looks to be in great touch and has not lost a set so far this week in beating Mara Gae, Leyre Romero Gormaz, and Ana Bogdan to reach the second round as a qualifier. Chwalinska also leads the head-to-head, but that win came on clay, and Danilovic is a better player on hard courts. Expect a close match, but Danilovic should advance.
Prediction: Danilovic in 3
Anastasia Potapova vs Anastasia Zakharova
Head-to-head: first meeting
In the rematch of last year’s final, defending champion Anastasia Potapova once again came back from a set down to beat Lucia Bronzetti. It was even closer this time, as Bronzetti created many more break-point chances and won more total points in the match, but Potapova showed iron resolve when she needed to and did a great job of staying calm under pressure. Anastasia Zakharova defeated Karolina Pliskova to get her first win of the season. These two have never played before, but the defending champion should have just about enough to continue her win streak at this event.
Prediction: Potapova in 3
Emma Raducanu vs Kaja Juvan
Head-to-head: first meeting
Top seed Emma Raducanu made a great start to her campaign as she easily defeated Greet Minnen. It was Raducanu’s first match since splitting with Francisco Roig, and the Brit played some of her best tennis in a long time. She was aggressive and gave no chance to Minnen. Kaja Juvan could be a stern challenge, but if Raducanu keeps playing this way, she will be hard for anyone to stop this week.
Prediction: Raducanu in 2
