Olivia Attwood’s former boyfriend was left feeling “humiliated” throughout their turbulent romance.
The Love Island favourite was coupled up with fellow islander Chris Hughes back in 2017 after they met on the ITV2 reality show, eventually securing third place together.
Following their villa exit, their relationship quickly became a public fascination, leading to their own reality series, Chris and Olivia: Crackin’ On, which captured their daily lives and budding romance.
But the programme also laid bare their explosive rows and bitter feuds for all to see.
One particularly uncomfortable moment showed Chris appearing visibly distressed, declaring he no longer wished to be with Olivia, who “can never do anything wrong”, reports the Mirror.

Olivia subsequently alleged that the pair’s endless rows stemmed from Chris’s supposed inappropriate conduct with other women.
Another heated exchange captured Chris telling his former partner never to speak to him again, prompting Olivia to brand him “f****** nasty.”
Fresh claims have now emerged suggesting the relationship proved “difficult” for Hughes to endure.
“Chris is literally the nicest guy you could meet,” an insider revealed.
Speaking to MailOnline, they continued: “He is often referred to as the nicest man in showbiz, nobody has a bad word to say about him. But Olivia went for him on their show and it was very difficult for him. Viewers would often say that she gaslit Chris and humiliated him. It was horrible.”
Although Chris and Olivia parted ways in 2018, she took a cheeky swipe at him and his new partner, JoJo Siwa, following their encounter on Celebrity Big Brother last year. Olivia posted a clip of herself lip-syncing to the tune Pretty Little Baby, by Connie Francis.
During the line: “Pretty little baby,” Attwood was spotted rolling her eyes, which seemed to be taking the mickey out of JoJo, before bursting into hysterics. Writing alongside her post, the reality personality said: “I just know this is going to trigger people so badly.”
Chris and Olivia’s breakup was attributed to a “breach of trust”, amid allegations that she had been messaging her former boyfriend, who happened to be her now separated husband, Bradley Dack. “Imagine if he hadn’t,” a source remarked about Chris supposedly discovering the alleged texts.

They continued: “She might be with him now still and that would be truly horrifying.”
Meanwhile, Olivia and footballer Bradley have recently called it quits, reportedly due to a breach of trust, two and a half years after they walked down the aisle.
Olivia and Bradley had first crossed paths over a decade ago, before she stepped into the Love Island villa. However, their original romance crumbled after Bradley had been unfaithful to her.
Following her separation from Chris, they sorted out their problems, with Bradley proposing in 2019. However, insiders suggest that despite public speculation about a potential reconciliation between her and Bradley, the prospects of salvaging their marriage appear virtually non-existent.
An insider revealed that Olivia and Bradley, whilst experiencing “ups and downs” during their relationship, had previously found ways to work through their difficulties.
“They have always managed to overcome any problems between them, including distance, their busy careers, and, in the past, betrayals from Bradley’s side,” a source told the MailOnline.
The source continued: “But after meeting over a decade ago, Bradley’s recent breach of trust, which came as a complete shock to Olivia, has led them to end their marriage.
“After being on and off at the start of their romance, some people have questioned whether this breakup is temporary, but it’s definitely not.”
