AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State gymnastics team’s February 6 meet against West Virginia has been canceled, school officials announced this afternoon.
“At this time, we do not have enough student-athletes available to safely field a team against West Virginia, and regrettably must cancel this competition,” said ISU Head Gymnastics Coach Ashley Miles Greig.
The Cyclones will next be in action February 13 at 7 p.m. when they host Western Michigan in ISU’s annual Beauty and the Beast event which includes the No. 4-ranked ISU wrestling team hosting West Virginia in Hilton Coliseum.
