Chicago’s McClung to replace San Antonio’s Jones Garcia in 2026 Castrol Rising Stars

Chicago Bulls guard Mac McClung will replace injured San Antonio Spurs guard David Jones Garcia on Team Austin in the 2026 Castrol Rising Stars. Jones Garcia is unable to participate because of a right ankle injury.
Honorary coaches Carmelo Anthony (Team Melo), Vince Carter (Team Vince) and Tracy McGrady (Team T-Mac) previously drafted their teams from a pool of 21 NBA rookies and sophomores. Austin Rivers (Team Austin) is the honorary coach of the NBA G League team, made up of players who have played G League games this season.
Castrol Rising Stars will take place on Friday, Feb. 13 at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif., as part of NBA All-Star 2026, streaming at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock.

The Bulls signed McClung on a two-way contract on Feb. 5, 2026. McClung, a three-time AT&T Slam Dunk Contest champion, appeared in three regular season games with Indiana Pacers during the 2025-26 season where he averaged 6.3 points in 11.3 minutes.
