Coco Jones Delivers Powerful Rendition of “Lift Every Voice and Sing” at 2026 Super Bowl

Before the Seahawks and the Patriots kick off for the 2026 Super Bowl, Coco Jones took to the field to perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
The Grammy winner, wearing an all-white gown featuring a few red, black, green and blue sequin lines, delivered a soulful and powerful rendition of the song, as a string ensemble played behind her.
“Lift Every Voice and Sing,” often referred to as the Black National Anthem in the U.S., has been performed at every Super Bowl pre-game show since 2021, with Ledisi singing last year’s version.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter last month, Jones opened up about what she was looking forward to most about being a part of football’s biggest night.
“Just representing my culture well is always something that I’ve strived to do since I was a little girl in this industry,” she shared. “That’s always been something instilled in me in the front of my mind. So to be able to do that on such a huge stage, I’m really looking forward to it and I want it to just represent us well and make my stamp in history and do a great job.”
Jones was joined by several other performers for the big day, including Green Day, who led the pre-game performance; Charlie Puth, who performed the National Anthem; and Brandi Carlile, who sang “America the Beautiful.” Bad Bunny is also headlining the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show.
On Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots are battling it out inside Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, for Super Bowl LX to see which team takes home the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Check out all the celebrities in attendance here.
