Hailee Steinfeld and husband Josh Allen follow a few simple rules to stay present with each other in their marriage.
The Sinners actress, 29, responded to a question from a follower of her newsletter Beau Society about how she maintains “an intentional relationship while both of you are so busy” in the Friday, Feb. 6 edition of the newsletter.
“I love this question. There’s an easy answer in my brain. I don’t want it to seem cliché, but we focus on being truly present with each other,” she wrote.
“More specifically, we’re big on weekly date nights and going no-phones for an hour at the end of the day.”
The actress-singer, who married Allen in May 2025, announced she was pregnant with their first child in December.

Allen, Buffalo’s quarterback, led the Bills to a 27-24 win in the NFL playoffs’ first round on Jan. 11 on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars the same day Steinfeld appeared separately in Los Angeles to attend the Golden Globe Awards.
Her film Sinners went on to break a record for the most Oscar nominations for a single movie — 16 total — on Jan. 22.
Allen took an opportunity to publicly share his affection for Steinfeld after he won that Jan. 11 playoff game. He shared a photo of Steinfeld on the red carpet at the Globes in chic maternity style to his Instagram Stories that night and left the emojis “🤤😍,” in a caption.
