Report: Seahawks WR broke hand 2 weeks before Super Bowl

Just how tough is Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jake Bobo? Apparently he’s playing in the Super Bowl just two weeks after breaking his hand.
Super Bowl Pregame: Pats taunt Seahawks with Malcolm Butler appearance
Just before the start of Super Bowl LX between the Seahawks and New England Patriots, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported on social media that Bobo broke his hand during the NFC Championship against the Los Angeles Rams and had surgery the next day.
Despite the injury, Bobo’s status against the Pats was never in question.
After being listed as limited with a hand injury for all three practices during last week’s practice reports, the undrafted third-year wide receiver was a full participant in all three sessions during the week leading up to the Super Bowl.
It’s unclear exactly when Bobo broke his hand against the Rams, but he did have one of the biggest catches of the game.
After Seattle recovered a muffed punt return early in the third quarter, Bobo made a leaping grab in tight coverage to secure a 17-yard TD pass and put the Seahawks up 24-13 at the 12:02 mark of the third.
A fan favorite, Bobo has seen less playing time on offense this season after Seattle retooled its wide receiver room last offseason. He had just two catches for 20 yards in the regular season, but ended up having important catches in each of his team’s first two postseason games.
Bobo also had a 16-yard catch to convert a third down late in the first half of the NFC Divisional Round game against the San Francisco 49ers, which helped Seattle continue an eventual 80-yard TD drive to go up 24-6.
The UCLA product has remained a key special teams player for the Seahawks, logging 167 snaps and four tackles in that phase of the game (including the postseason).
