The woman’s identity is being withheld pending notification of some family members.

Family of the victim arrived at the scene Sunday afternoon and were set to speak with a detective.

As police investigated the homicide, officers blocked off the street and focused much of their attention on the car parked in front of the home, which family members told a reporter was currently listed for sale.

Throughout the afternoon, Bristol Township investigators and Bucks County detectives undertook a canvas of the neighborhood and processed the crime scene.

While the heavy police presence drew attention from neighbors, the department looked to dismiss concern in a mid-afternoon statement.

The investigation remains ongoing and is led by Bristol Township Police and Bucks County Detectives.
