Report: Red Sox acquire Caleb Durbin from Brewers

The Brewers, in turn, will receive promising left-handed pitcher Kyle Harrison, headlining a package of three players. Infielder David Hamilton and left-hander Shane Drohan are the other two players heading to Milwaukee.
Durbin, 25, enjoyed his first full major-league season in 2025, playing in 136 games for the Brewers, finishing with a .256 batting average, 11 home runs and 53 RBIs in 445 at-bats. He also scored 60 runs and recorded 18 stolen bases, while posting a .721 OPS.
Harrison, 24, split time between starting and relief work in 2025, appearing in 11 games and logging 35.2 innings. He struck out 38 batters and posted a 4.04 ERA. He was acquired by the Red Sox from the San Francisco Giants as a key piece in the Rafael Devers trade.
