(KNSI) — Police in St. Cloud are investigating after a woman was found stabbed to death inside her apartment Saturday night.
According to a press release, a 911 call came in at 8:20 for a medical emergency at an apartment complex on the 3100 block of 40th Avenue South. Crews arrived to find the body of 22-year-old Hallie Marie Tobler and her husband, 23-year-old Dylan Tobler locked inside their unit. She had been stabbed several times and was pronounced dead at the scene. He also had several stab wounds and was rushed to CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital for treatment.
Investigators say they believe Dylan stabbed his wife to death before turning the knife on himself.
Dylan remains hospitalized in stable condition and in the custody of the St. Cloud Police Department. Once released, he’ll be booked into the Stearns County jail.
