MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. – Thomas S. Wootton High School is on lockdown Monday afternoon after one person was shot, police have confirmed.
What we know:
MCPD was dispatched to the school at 2:15 p.m. on Monday after reports of shots fired inside the school. At this time, MCPD has confirmed one person was shot. Officers are at the school for what they’re saying is an “active incident.”
What we don’t know:
It is not clear if the person shot is a student. Officials have said the shooting was near the high school.
