History-making music superstar kicks off huge new tour in Vancouver this spring

Record-breaking Punjabi hitmaker Diljit Dosanjh embarks on a huge new tour this spring, and he’s kicking things off in a familiar Vancouver venue.
Dosanjh returns to BC Place on Thursday, April 23, to launch the North American leg of the Aura World Tour.
The concert comes two years after Dosanjh’s last performance at BC Place, making history with the largest Punjabi show outside of India. The stadium even featured in the official concert announcement.
Fans in Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and Toronto will also get to see the music superstar live this year. Tickets go on sale on Thursday, Feb. 12.
Making history is nothing new to Dosanjh, who is known as one of the most-viewed Punjabi artists of all time. “Indian Drake” has recorded 15 studio albums, the most recent being Aura in October 2025. He was also the first Punjabi-speaking artist to perform at Coachella, and appeared as a judge for three seasons of India’s reality show Rising Star.
Dosanjh, who was the first Indian artist to perform at and sell out Rogers Arena, has starred in some of the most popular Bollywood and Punjabi movies of all time. Fans can see him onscreen in films such as Honsla Rakh, Jatt & Juliet, Punjab 1984, and Super Singh.

Dosanjh received an International Emmy Award nomination in 2025 for Best Performance by an Actor for his work in the Netflix film Amar Singh Chamkila. He was also voted by Vogue readers as the Best Dressed at the 2025 Met Gala.
BC Place is a popular destination for some of the world’s biggest music acts in 2026.
Other luminaries coming to Vancouver’s largest stadium this year include Bruno Mars and Noah Kahan, the latter of whom is gearing up for a “monumental, career-defining stadium run.”
