CBC meteorologist Ryan Snoddon said 10 to 20 centimetres of snow is expected on Wednesday, with the highest amounts most likely to land along the Atlantic coastline, the Northumberland Shore and across Cape Breton.
Snoddon said with temperatures near and even slightly above freezing, the snow will be heavy to shovel and may be enough to weigh down some branches onto power lines. Power outages can’t be ruled out and folks should prepare accordingly, Snoddon says.
