Jeremy Sochan’s San Antonio Spurs tenure is over.
The team has granted the 22-year-old forward his release.
In his fourth season out of Baylor, Sochan had become a bit player on the Spurs and buried at the end of Mitch Johnson’s bench. He appeared in 28 games this season, averaging only 12.8 minutes a night. His court time last season was nearly doubled at 25.3 minutes per game.
Sochan posted three straight seasons of 11 points per game or more. With his decreased playing time, he was averaging just 4.1 this season.
Born in Oklahoma and raised in England, Sochan represents Poland internationally.
