EuroMillions £1m winnings remains unclaimed in Birmingham

He urged anyone who was in or around Birmingham at the time of the draw to think back to whether they may have bought a ticket, even if they were only visiting the city for the day.
He encouraged players to search “wallets, drawers and coat pockets and to tell friends and family”, saying the missing ticket holder might not even realise they had won.
The unclaimed ticket was one of six major National Lottery prizes still outstanding across Lotto and EuroMillions, with more than £13m yet to be claimed nationwide.
Under National Lottery rules, players have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim any prize. If no one comes forward before the deadline, the £1m prize, along with any interest generated, would be transferred to National Lottery funded projects across the UK.
