The latest series of Love Island has been wild, from Scott van-der-Sluis going IN on Sean Stone during the first episode of All Stars, to Lucinda Strafford causing a stir with pretty much every Islander, and we’ve been glued to our TV screens.
The latest drama involves Scott, Leanne Amaning and Belle Hassan and while it’s not known what will happen with their love triangle – especially now that Jessy Potts has arrived and taken a liking to the Welsh Islander – fans have been desperate for Leanne’s head to turn elsewhere.

And by elsewhere we mean towards Tommy Bradley, who she’s currently coupled up with but as a friendship couple.
‘Need Tommy and Leanne to crack on immediately and scam their way to the final. The people’s prince and princess we have got you,’ tweeted one viewer.
Someone else said, ‘Did y’all catch Leanne’s hand on Tommy’s thigh?’
A third commented, ‘I hope we get Tommy x Leanne scenes today so I can push my new agenda.’

One more added, ‘I’m all for Tommy and Leanne scamming us to the win.’
LOL.
So of course, when recently dumped Islanders Curtis Pritchard and Konnor Ewudzi popped into Closer HQ, we had to ask what’s really going on between Leanne and Tommy and we’re sad to say that their answer disappointed us.
‘[Their relationship is] brother/sister vibes,’ Konnor exclusively told us.

Curtis went on to say, ‘I don’t see Tommy and Leanne [happening]. Tommy won’t fake it, he really won’t fake it.
‘Tommy’s very understanding too. If the lady is a little bit older and more mature and is looking for kids in the near future, Tommy is like, “I’m not looking for that now.”
‘He is very open and real.’
Konnor went on to add, ‘Tommy said the same thing about Belle – she’s sound and a laugh and Tommy said something similar like, “Belle would be so lovely to bring home, I know my mum and dad would love her” but the age thing just ain’t going to work.’

Well, that’s that then.
Then again, it’s rare that the friends to lovers trope works out on Love Island. Remember series 12 when Shakira Khan and Conor Phillips tried to make things work but they ended up calling it quits and crying in the bedroom together?
Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack started off as friends during series eight and they managed to make it work a couple of years but that all fell apart earlier this year following that infamous video…
Even Chris Taylor and Maura Higgins tried to make it work years after their villa stint but alas it wasn’t meant to be.
So all in all, Leanne and Tommy are preventing themselves (and us) from heartbreak.
