The winning numbers on Wednesday were 6, 20, 33, 40 and 48. The Power Ball was 5 and the Power Play was 2x. The jackpot was $126 million or $58 million in a lump sum payout.
One player from Arizona matched five numbers for $1 million.
The next drawing will be worth at least $146 million.
The next Powerball drawing takes place at 10:59 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14.
The largest winning Powerball jackpot ticket sold in Michigan was worth $842.4 million and sold in January 2024 at Food Castle in Grand Blanc. The overall largest win came from a player in California who claimed more than $2 billion.
The Powerball is legal to play in 45 states, plus Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
