  • Lamar Wilkerson has scored at least 19 points in six straight games, averaging 28.2 over that stretch, and he capped it with a 41-point outburst against Oregon. Tucker DeVries averages 13.8 points and 5.5 rebounds for the season, while Tayton Conerway adds 10.5 points and 3.8 assists.

Darian DeVries is in his first season leading the Hoosiers. IU is 17-8 under DeVries, who came to Bloomington after a 19-13 season at West Virginia — a 10-win improvement over the Mountaineers’ previous season. DeVries spent his first six seasons as a head coach at Drake, where he won 20 or more games each year, and took the Bulldogs to three NCAA tournaments.

His all-time record is 186-76 (.710).

Brad Underwood is in his ninth season leading the Fighting Illini. They are 185-106 (.636) in his tenure with five NCAA tournament berths and a Big Ten regular-season championship. He took Oklahoma State to a NCAA tournament in one season and Stephen F. Austin to three straight prior to that.
