Winter Olympics 2026: Birk Ruud goes for second gold in men’s freestyle skiing Big Air final – full schedule, how to watch live

Slopestyle Olympic champion Birk Ruud will go for a second freestyle skiing gold medal at Milano Cortina 2026 in the men’s Big Air final on Tuesday (17 February).
The Norwegian will feel confident in defending his Big Air title, finishing third overall in qualification without needing to use his third attempt.
Top place went to reigning X Games champion Mac Forehand of the USA, who is the current co-leader of the Big Air World Cup standings, alongside Ruud.
Second place went to Lausanne 2020 Youth Olympic champion Matej Svancer of Austria, who will be hoping to land a first Olympic medal.
Elsewhere in what will be a stacked final, reigning world champion Luca Harrington of New Zealand, booked his spot in fifth, while Ruud’s compatriot Tormod Frostad bounced back from an early fall with the highest score in a single run during the qualification round.
Also keep an eye out for 2023 world champion and 2024 X Games champion Troy Podmilsak, who knows how to produce his best runs when it matters most.
