Trump Administration Says Bruce Springsteen’s Upcoming US Tour Will Flop

Bruce Springsteen has positioned his “Land of Hope and Dreams Tour” as a musical rebuke to the Trump Administration. Following news of a 2026 US leg, which includes a show in the Nation’s Capitol, Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung responded with a characteristically verbose putdown that name-checked several Springsteen songs while diagnosing him with a case of “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

“When this loser Springsteen comes back home to his own City of Ruins in his head, he’ll realize his Glory Days are behind him and his fans have left him Out in the Street,” Cheung wrote in a statement to Politico.

While tickets don’t go officially on sale until Friday, I wouldn’t be so sure about Cheung’s declaration: The Boss’ previous tour in 2023-2025 marked the biggest of his career, pulling in a whopping $729.7 million and selling 4.9 million tickets.
