The Dispatch used contestant information and public records to determine if any contestants filed applications for marriage licenses. Based on those records, from across Ohio, six couples from season 10 applied for marriage licenses in late March 2025.
Those couples are (again, spoiler alert incoming):
- Connor Spies and Brianna McNees
- Alex Henderson and Ashley Carpenter
- Devonta Anderson and Brittany Wicker
- Jordan Faeth and Amber Morrison
- Michael Gibney and Emma Betsinger
- Victor St. John and Christine Hamilton
Those probate court records show two couples returned the marriage license, indicating a ceremony took place. Those couples are Faeth and Morrison, who applied for their license in Knox County, and St. John and Hamilton, who applied for their license in Cuyahoga County.
Faeth and Morrison’s license says the two were married on April 6, 2025. St. John and Hamilton were married on April 9, 2025, according to their license.
No divorce records for either couple are publicly visible as of Feb. 17, based on court records searches by The Dispatch.
In Ohio, potential spouses can apply for marriage licenses in the county where one or both of them live or in the county where they plan to tie the knot. A license gotten by an Ohio resident from one county in Ohio is valid throughout the entire state and lasts for 60 days before the application would have to be refiled.
A portion of the marriage license, signed by the officiant, has to be returned to the probate court where the application was filed for the marriage to be legally official. After the court receives the information about the ceremony, certified copies of the marriage certificate will be available.
Marriage license applications are a public record in Ohio.
