Love Island viewers were left in floods of tears after a contestant was seen sobbing just days before the finale.

The finale is merely days away with one lucky couple set to be crowned the 2026 champions. The third series of Love Island All Stars has witnessed tremendous drama, from furious arguments to awkward love triangles and countless twists and turns throughout.

With the chaos continuing this week, viewers are left anxiously anticipating what awaits on the popular ITV2 dating programme.

Last night (February 18) witnessed the Islanders discover what the public thought of them for the first time as they received their answers.

In a savage twist, presenter Maya Jama returned to the villa to reveal that each couple had been posed a question by audiences, before concluding on a stunning cliffhanger when Samie was questioned whether she would tell the truth about what her friend Sophie had said regarding Belle during telephone calls home, reports OK!.

And tonight (February 19), tensions remained escalating as Samie was compelled to disclose what was said and provided her explanations, confessing she “didn’t want to kick a girl whilst she was down”.

Later in the episode, the girls were spotted departing on a shopping excursion after Samie received a text message that stated: “Tonight is date night in the Villa. Girls a shopping trip awaits because the perfect date starts with the perfect set up. Please get ready to leave the Villa.”

As they ventured out for a spot of shopping, the lads were then taken aback when Tommy also got a text which said: “Boys, whilst the girls are away it’s time to get some opinions from home. Video calls incoming!”

First to receive their video call home was Scott who chatted to his sister Steph. She told him: “We love Leanne, with Leanne I see it really, really soon on.

“I know you better than anyone in the world and I think it was a case of you both thought it was too good to be true too soon.”

She later continued: “I’ve never seen you like this before.”

Steph then showed a voice call from Scott’s mum who also expressed her backing as Scott was spotted breaking down in tears, battling to find the words.

And viewers at home were also weeping as one person posted on X: “Nah why am I crying.”

Another expressed their concern: “I’ve NEVERRR seen Scott cry on any of the other shows he’s been on, he must be going through it in there.”

A third wrote: “Why am I crying over Scott please… this season is doing things to me that I don’t like.”

A fourth responded: “Scott is proper sobbing no I can’t cope”, as another commented: “Damn i’ve never seen scott cry like this.”

One viewer simply stated: “Scott crying is making me cry.” The other lads were also spotted in tears with their video calls home as one viewer posted on social media: “Nah I can’t cope with all the tears.”

Another wrote: “Why’s everyone crying?”

Love Island All Stars continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
