Georgia Tech’s Season to Date:
It’s been a very rough go of it for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, who enter Saturday’s game against Louisville at 2-12 in the ACC and riding an eight game losing streak. The last four of those losses have all come by 15 points or more.
Tech currently sits at No. 165 on KenPom, the lowest ranking of any power conference team in the country.
Despite significant offensive struggles (they turn the ball over on 18.4% of their offensive possessions), Georgia Tech plays at the fastest pace of any team in the ACC. They will absolutely try and get up and down with Louisville.
The most consistent player on this team is big man Baye Ndongo, a consistent double-double threat who gave Louisville fits on the glass last season. Senior guard Kowacie Reeves has stepped up to be the team’s leading scorer at 15.1 ppg.
Outside of that, there’s just not enough on this Yellow Jacket roster to be competitive in a league like the ACC. While they still mathematically have a chance to qualify for the league tournament, it seems far more likely than not that these last five games of the regular season will be the last ones they play in 2025-26.
