Micah Richards was live on air when Arsenal dropped points against Wolves in the Premier League.

The Gunners were 2-0 up at Molineux and seemed to be on their way to pick up three points. Mikel Arteta’s side would’ve gone seven points clear at the top of the table had they held on.

However, Wolves struck twice, the second of which came in the second half of stoppage time when the ball bounced off Riccardo Calafiori’s knee onto the post and into the back of the net.

Richards found out about the equaliser and couldn’t hide the Gooner inside him.

Who was Arsenal’s worst player vs Wolves?

Micah Richards has often admitted that he is an Arsenal fan.

The Englishman grew up supporting the Gunners, but his most memorable spell as a player came at Manchester City.

Richards is also an ambassador of the Sky Blues, so he has had to change his tune at times and call himself a Manchester City fan.

Several pundits have called him out on that, but they won’t need to anymore after watching his reaction in the CBS Sports studios on Wednesday night.

Right after Wolves scored, there was a huge commotion that made everyone, including Thierry Henry, realise that Arsenal had conceded.

Richards looked at his screen to verify, and once he did, he screamed: “No!”

Then, the Manchester City ambassador had his hands on his head as he looked down for more details. Kate Scott saw that and asked: “You look in despair, Micah, are you okay?”

Jamie Carragher then added: “Why are you upset, you’re Man City, aren’t you?” Richards burst out laughing and said: “I just want Arsenal to do well.”

Then, presumably after he remembered his allegiance to his former club, he started chanting “City, City, City,” before another burst of his iconic laugh.

Richards’ love for Arsenal was clear to see despite his ambassadorial role at Manchester City.

Micah Richards’ initial title race prediction about Arsenal could come true

The Premier League title race has been a rollercoaster ride so far this season.

Liverpool seemed like they would run away with it early on, but Arsenal then took control and were viewed as the favourites by everyone.

Manchester City then started putting results together, which raised the question of whether they could pip the Gunners for the third time in four years.

At the start of February, Richards claimed that the game between Arsenal and City at the Etihad would decide who would win the title this season.

That prediction could come true now as Pep Guardiola’s side are effectively just two points behind the leaders, considering they win their game in hand.
