What’s the stuffed animal given to USA, Canada after Olympic hockey gold medal match?

The medal ceremonies at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan have had an odd addition.
Each competitor who gets a medal also gets a stuffed animal.
After the USA-Canada gold medal hockey match, it was especially bizarre.
The Canadian players certainly wanted nothing to do with getting a stuffed animal to go along with their silver medal.
That’s what this tourney decided to do, though.

What’s the stuffed animal at Olympics with medals?
All the Olympians with a medal also receive a plushy, and it’s a two-for-one deal.
It has Tina the Stoat, but also a stuffed “Flo” — which is a tiny “impish” character, according to NBC.
Tina the Stoat is one of two mascots for this games, along with Milo.

A stoat is a small creature part of the weasel family.
They’re most closely related to otters and ferrets.
Their coats can change color in the winter to camouflage against the snow. They look lighter, like Tina, in the winter, while they get darker, like Milo, in the summer.
It’s not exactly clear why everyone gets these stuffed animals.
Hopefully the kids of some of these Olympians enjoy them.
