Livingston vs Rangers: Scottish Premiership updates & match report

Mikey Moore’s 88th-minute header rescued a draw for Rangers against Scottish Premiership strugglers Livingston, who blew a two-goal lead after Cristian Montano’s red card.
However, the shock slip-up at the bottom club hampers Rangers’ title hopes, leaving them four points adrift of leaders Hearts with 10 games remaining. Livingston’s deficit on second-bottom Kilmarnock is now eight points.
A venomous volley from Brooklyn Kabongolo and a drilled effort from Lewis Smith had Marvin Bartley’s side 2-0 up, threatening their first win in any competition since August.
Had they been able to hold on, it would have been one of the biggest upsets in Premiership history, but their challenge became much tougher when Montano was sent off on the hour for a last-man challenge on Djeidi Gassama.
However, the incredible performance of Jerome Prior in the Livingston goal, and an unbelievable goalline clearance from Danny Finlayson, started to give the basement dwellers hope.
But Emmanuel Fernandez’s thunderous strike in the 81st minute suggested Rangers were not done and Moore then glanced in James Tavernier’s cross for the leveller.
There appeared to be a chance for Rangers to get a winner when Moore was brought down on the edge of the box by Cammy Kerr. On the replay, it looked like the Livingston player didn’t get any of the ball but after a lengthy VAR check, play went on.
