School closures, delays announced across West Virginia for Monday, Feb. 23

WEST VIRGINIA (WCHS) — After a week of spring-like temperatures, the cold weather has returned and brought the snow with it.
As such, the snowfall is resulting in counties announcing delays and closures within their school systems.
The following counties announced their schools would be closed on Monday, Feb. 23 (as of 9:10 p.m. Sunday):
- McDowell
- Mercer
- Pocahontas
- Raleigh
- Summers
- Wyoming
The following counties announced their schools would operate on a delay on Monday (as of 9:10 p.m. Sunday):
- Barbour
- Berkeley
- Cabell
- Clay
- Doddridge
- Fayette
- Greenbrier
- Hampshire
- Hardy
- Harrison
- Jefferson
- Kanawha
- Lewis
- Lincoln
- Marion
- Mason
- Monongalia
- NIcholas
- Pendleton
- Preston
- Putnam
- Randolph
- Tucker
- Upshur
