During a wild Saturday slate of college basketball, Arizona handed Houston its first home loss of the season while Duke took down No. 1 Michigan, shaking up Andy Katz’s latest Power 37 men’s college basketball rankings.
Here are the latest rankings:
1. Duke (2): The Blue Devils took down No. 1 Michigan and deserve to be No. 1.
2. Arizona (4): The Wildcats beat BYU and won at Houston, the latter without Koa Peat.
3. Michigan (1): The Wolverines shouldn’t drop beyond the top three after the loss to Duke in DC.
4. St. John’s (5): The Red Storm haven’t lost since the first week of January and on the road since December.
5. Houston (3): The Cougars lost to Arizona at home but are still a possible No. 1 seed.
6. UConn (6): The Huskies bounced back after a disappointing home loss to Creighton by winning at Villanova.
7. Florida (7): The Gators continue to roll in the SEC.
8. Gonzaga (13): The Zags are starting to hit their groove again.

9. Illinois (8): The Illini did lose at UCLA, but at the buzzer in OT.
10. Iowa State (10): The Cyclones did lose at BYU, but they are still a top-10 team with top two line potential.
11. Virginia (23): The Cavaliers have won eight in a row in advance of a showdown with Duke.
12. Michigan State (16): The Spartans had a solid week, taking care of business at home against UCLA and Ohio State.
13. Purdue (18): The Boilermakers trashed Indiana and are starting to look like a title contender again.
14. Alabama (20): The Tide have won six in a row and are peaking at the right time.
15. Nebraska (12): The Huskers did lose at Iowa but then found their footing again against Rutgers.
16. Texas Tech (9): The Red Raiders lost to Arizona State and JT Toppin is done for the season. But they were able to handle Kansas State without him to prove to the committee they are still in contention for a top four-line seed.
17. Tennessee (19): The Vols have won four in a row, including winning at Vanderbilt.
18. Arkansas (17): The Hogs did lose to Alabama but got a needed win over Missouri.

19. Wisconsin (15): The Badgers bounced back after the road loss at Ohio State with a win over Iowa.
20. Kansas (11): The Jayhawks have to drop after a stunning home loss to Cincinnati.
21. Miami (Ohio) (25): The RedHawks are 27-0!
22. BYU (NR): Back on the BYU bandwagon after a home win over Iowa State without Richie Saunders.
23. Vanderbilt (21): The Commodores have dropped two in a row.
24. Louisville (24): The Cardinals got a win over Georgia Tech after losing to SMU.
25. Saint Louis (22): The Billikens got clipped at Rhode Island but then beat VCU at home.
26. Miami (Fla.) (27): The ‘Canes did lose to Virginia but had won four in a row.
27. NC State (32): Quality W over rival North Carolina.
28. Iowa (30): The Hawkeyes upset Nebraska but then couldn’t catch Wisconsin.
29. North Carolina (27): The Tar Heels are figuring out life without Caleb Wilson.

30. Georgia (NR): Welcome back to the Bulldogs after beating Kentucky in Lexington and Texas.
31. Belmont (36): The Bruins won the Missouri Valley and will be the top seed in Arch Madness.
32. SMU (NR): The Mustangs beat Louisville by 10 and are holding onto a bubble spot.
33. Villanova (29): The Wildcats are the third-best team in the Big East, but can’t take down the top two teams in the league.
34. Cincinnati (NR): Wes Miller has kept this group together and they’ve won four in a row, including winning at Kansas.
35. New Mexico (NR): The Lobos have won three in a row and are now a game back of Utah State.
36. Saint Mary’s (37): The Gaels have won six in a row in preparation for a showdown with Gonzaga in Moraga.
37. Texas (33): The loss at Georgia snapped a five-game winning streak.
Dropped out: Kentucky (14), Clemson (26), Indiana (31), Utah State (34), San Diego State (35).
