Home Bargains is selling an affordable ‘charming’ garden light that the store says makes any outdoor space look ‘visually striking’. The budget superstore is well known across the country for selling a wide variety of items at low prices, including homeware, toiletries, food and drink, and garden supplies.
With spring just around the corner, the store has refreshed its line-up of gardening products, including a variety of solar-powered lights. One option on sale for £5.99 is the Firefly Hanging Watering Can Solar Light.
While it costs £6 to buy, the light is free to run, powered by solar energy rather than electricity, so shoppers can leave it outdoors and it’ll light up on its own at night. Home Bargains describes the light as ‘delightful’ and features a ‘waterfall’ effect.
The decorative lantern creates a ‘visually striking’ effect with its twinkling LED string lights flowing from the spout, resembling water. The store says it’s ideal for ‘adding warmth’ to your garden, balcony, patio, or pathway.

The Firefly Hanging Watering Can Solar Light is 80cm tall, and it automatically turns on at dusk. The LEDs are ‘warm white’ and offer a ‘twinkle effect’.
There are 37 LED bulbs included, and Home Bargains says the Firefly Hanging Watering Can Solar Light is ‘easy to install. It also comes with a rechargeable battery, included in the box.

There are various other ‘lookalike’ options on the market currently, though Home Bargains’ £5.99 version stands as one of the cheapest. B&Q is selling a GloBrite Solar Watering Can Garden Light for £9.49, which is only available online.
Amazon shoppers can also buy a Solar Watering Can Outdoor Light for £12.99, with free delivery available for Prime members. Very is also offering a Smart Solar Firefly Decor Can for £15, which, according to the store, is ‘selling fast’.
Elsewhere at Home Bargains, shoppers can check out its latest StarBuy deals, where the store often reduces the cost of ‘high-end’ products to a fraction of their recommended retail price. For instance, a four-pack set of Dr Lipp The All You Need creams are available for £5.99 – down from £40 – meaning shoppers can save around £34.
