BTS’ Jung Kook Featured in Calvin Klein Releases New Spring Denim Ad Campaign

With a nod to the’90s, Calvin Klein has released its spring denim campaign featuring global brand ambassador Jung Kook of the boy band BTS.

The campaign was directed and styled by Mert Alas, and shows a sharpened focus on denim as an expression of personal style from the South Korean’s singer distinct point of view. Jungkook was named an ambassador for Calvin Klein in March 2023.

The ads feature a film that blends fashion and entertainment, moving to an instantly recognizable soundtrack, including “Footloose” and brought to life through the artist’s choreography. The video, which features a cameo from Rosie Perez, shows him browsing and dancing in a record store.

Calvin Klein Jeans are at the center of the wardrobe with such silhouettes as 90s Straight; the relaxed and nostalgic proportions of the Baggy, and the new interpretations of the iconic Trucker jacket. They are all reimagined with elevated washes and designed for versatility. Casual logo tees and oversized bombers complete the looks.

“I love Calvin Klein jeans because they’re designed to be lived in,” said the 28-year-old Jungkook. “The looks I wore for this campaign nod to ’90s style while feeing completely modern. It was exciting to bring together my love of music, dance and fashion against the energy of the city.”

The campaign launched globally Tuesday across Calvin Klein retail, calvinklein.com and social platforms, as well as out-of-home placements.
